★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Japanese kaiseki meal. They serve in individual guest room with table service. I had been there 3 years ago and now come back again. The food still delicious and good looking but the table service not as good as before. The price not much increase and not expensive in term of the private room and good quality of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an unexpected find when we were en route to the Osaka art museum. It turns out that the museum was closed on a Monday and we came across this restaurant.
As this is a kaiseki restaurant, their menu is seasonal. During our visit 2 options were available - 6000JPY or the 15000JPY set. We opted for the former and we were not disappointed. At 6000JPY, this came up to around 70 plus sgd and is worth it in my opinion.
If you have been to a Ryokan, the level of service is impeccable and similar. You will be shown to a private room and a staff or two will be taking care of your needs throughout the course of the meal.
Needless to say, we love the food and will be coming back again. Probably in a different season just to check out what else they offer. It was a shame we could not visit their garden while we were there as it looks like it was meticulously tended to and offers a serene resting spot away from the chaotic tourists in nearby Shinsekai.
