It has an old-fashioned home-like atmosphere, with table seats and parlor seats. I thought that the countryside set meal (changed noodles to curry udon for 1,100 yen + 100 yen) was a good value for sightseeing in Kyoto.

There are few shops from Ohara Bus Terminal to Jakoin, and it is a valuable restaurant. The special soup and soup and foxine udon soup are really delicious. You can eat it at the garden terrace. J	J Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 寂光院の帰りに寄らせてもらいました(＾―＾) のどかな里山の風景を見ながらご飯やデザートを食べられる趣きのあるお茶屋さんで、居心地がよかったです。大原の名産なので食べておかなければと、メニューに合った「しそパフェ」と、店頭に書かれていた「しその炭酸ジュース」を注文。どんな味なんだろうと興味で注文しましたが、しそパフェに乗っていたしそゼリーは風味があっさりしていて、すごく食べやすく、おいしかったです。 I stopped by on the way back from Jakkoin (^ ― ^) It was a quaint teahouse where you can eat rice and dessert while looking at the idyllic scenery of the satoyama, and it was comfortable. Since it is a specialty of Ohara, I ordered "Shiso Parfait" that matches the menu and "Shiso Carbonated Juice" that was written on the shop front. I ordered it because I was curious about what it tasted like, but I was riding a shiso parfait and the perilla jelly had a light flavor and was very easy to eat and delicious.

E	Ev Ry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful valley and breathtaking view from the window of the restaurant. Surrounded by mountains the valley is an incredible place to visit. To have a hike around or enjoy nearby Onsen. Nice spend of a day outside of Kyoto.
