★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 味と店構えは昭和の雰囲気を色濃く残しております。ソースかつ重はソースと仄かな味噌風味でとても美味しかった。どうも大正時代から地元に方に親しまれているようです。自分も訪れておきながら言うのも恐縮ですが、新型コロナが落ち着くまで県外の方が殺到せぬよう願います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔ながらの食堂で、何でも美味しいですが、特に肉うどん、カツ丼（たまご）、ラーメンが最高です！
ちょくちょく食べに行きます。
おばちゃん、おじちゃんも愛想が良いです。
また、おじちゃんが器用で、竹で作った水車みたいな物とかが飾ってあります。
ほっと出来るそんな食堂です！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔懐かしの雰囲気が漂う、明治25年創業の店は地元の方々の馴染みの店。
ウスターソース味を加えたかつ重はかつてかつ丼がご馳走だった時代を感じさせ、ほっこりとした気持ちにさせてくれる。昔ながらのしょう油ラーメンも食べたかった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 美空ひばりさんが食べたカツ丼を出す店です。
昔、須坂劇場という劇場が東京庵さんの近くにあったようで、当時大女優だった美空ひばりさんが劇場に来られたらしく、須坂の街は大騒ぎになったようです。
その時に今の店主さんが、かつ丼120個の注文を劇場側から受けて、120個のかつ丼を届けられたようです。
店主さんが
「俺がまだ若い時の話しだが・・・」
と懐かしそうに仰ってましたが、その時に頂いたサインを店内に飾っており、大変貴重なものを見ながら美味しい「かつ重」を頂きました。
駐車場は店舗北側の一番奥の左右二台分のみです。
周囲は下町的景色で、非常に味わいのあるエリアに佇む、素敵な食堂です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本当に小さな昔ながらの定食屋さん。お茶はセルフとありつつも、一見さんには難しいかも(苦笑)。冷蔵庫の麦茶とカウンターの急須で好きに入れるのだが、初回では全く分からず、相席の常連さんに入れて頂く…(恐縮でした…)
カツ丼は、どんぶりいっぱいにキレイに盛り付けられたしっとりカツ丼。
店主と奥様の暖かみのある定食屋さんです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なんとなく、友人たちと昼を食べに決めたお店で、この日は雨が降っていました。平日の12時前だったので、客は自分達だけ。
店内に池はあったり、ジオラマがあったり美空ひばりさんのサインがあったり捜せば色々興味を引く物が沢山あります。
また、都度、大将も説明してくれて食べる注文前から気持ちが高まりました。
お茶はセルフでしたが美味しかったです。寒い日に飲む暖かいお茶は至高の一杯です。
私はソースカツ丼を注文しましたが、肉厚なカツが食べ応え十分でソースも相性がとても良くて箸が止まりませんでした。副菜の漬物類も美味しく箸休めにはもったいない代物です。
同席していた友人は味噌汁に感動していました。
料理はまだまだ沢山あるので何度も食べにきたくなるようなお店です。
大将も80歳(近い)という話をしたので、まだまだ元気だったのでしばらくは通うことになりそうです。
