There is only one exhibition room on the 1st floor of the main building, but it seems that the exhibition is mainly based on the theme of the collection. The garden is also spectacular, and I would like to visit the next season (today is midwinter).

I was a little dissatisfied because I like gardens including plants. Is there a gardener? Maybe it's too much. Points to be worried about △ The same plants are scattered and lack diversity △ Isn't it well maintained? The plants aren't healthy (because it's summer?) △ The water in the pond is muddy △ The building is no longer in use and it feels like it's getting rough. △ Unsightly signboards and road pavements also destroy the atmosphere It makes me sad to see "taxidermy of the garden" to open it as an art museum. Not recommended for garden lovers.

The exhibits are great but the gardens are great I feel that the autumn leaves are as beautiful as the Shiratori Garden I'm going to take photos during the autumn season

A museum of tea utensils and calligraphy. In the garden, the villa “Minamiyama Kotoso” built by Owari Yasushi and Noritsu Watanabe has been relocated. Is the garden a deep mountain valley? It seems that Minamiyama Kotoso can be visited on some reservations, but on November 3 it can be visited without reservation. I will go next year. Postscript On November 3rd, I went to see “Nanyama Kotobuki”. It seems that the entire Nanzan Koso will be released only on this day. I have also seen the famous “Sprained Seat”. Originally this building was along the Horikawa, so it is a very unique and interesting structure. But unfortunately, there is no photo inside the “Sprained Seat” because “shooting prohibited”. Not bad. I had tea at the Shoin on the second floor. It ’s a very nice building. I want to go again.

A garden where you can feel like a dolphin in Kyoto. From Irinaka subway station, the ups and downs of the slope are a little difficult, but if you walk, you can see general houses of various designs, which is fun.

Used during the daytime on weekdays Some of the personal collections are exhibited at a small museum The exhibition room on the first floor has ancient documents and Japanese paintings centered on tea utensils. I personally liked the works of the Kano school It's a very high level when I imagine trying to draw it myself The garden is also large for the site The tea room and old mansion have been relocated and stored for a taste. However, since it is a wooden building, deterioration over time can be seen everywhere. In addition, running water facilities such as deer threats, walking paths and ponds in the garden are aging. Even so, you can fully enjoy the location in the city and the autumn colors unique to this time of year. The parking lot has a space of about 10 cars Tea rooms and mansions in the garden can be reserved A facility where you can turn your feet when you get close

Showa museum is the special museum of Japanese tea ceremony arts. The private and small museum but very useful for understanding the richness of culture in Nagoya. The house for the tea ceremony is built in Edo era and rebuilt here from the center of Nagoya city.
