★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good exhibits. Aichi Trinalae right now but the best works are not displayed here. Better go to the aichi arts center for the really good artists

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The special exhibits were too expensive. The regular exhibit was also expensive relative to the amount you will see. We only spent about 15 minutes since there were really few artworks here. But still, visit the place if you are visiting the science museum nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temporary expo Bührle is really nice. They present 50 oleum paintings depicting the evolution of impressionism.
Although you might want to go early. It gets really crowded.
At the end, you can buy a certified copy of some of the pieces from Monet, VanGogh and Degas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ageing small exhibition hall and below average hardware setup. However, some very helpful staff and a few pieces of great quality art: Modiglani, Chagall, Brancusi... and some interesting Japanese artists. Perhaps due to limited collection the museum has access to, there is not much the curator can show his/her vision. Even the small museum shop has a few high quality prints. Overall worth a visit if you care about art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ticket price is quite high for such a small and run down museum. The exhibitions are rarely of note and mostly feature postwar Japanese art. When big-name art collections come through (like Van Gogh) it's primarily a collection of minor works with perhaps one better known piece. Once in a while there will be a better contemporary show, but almost every time I've been here there is surprisingly little to look at, four or five artists being shown in the entire building, as if they couldn't find enough work to show.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally didn't like it.
They don't allow you to take pictures. Who goes to a museum which doesn't really have new art, only old school style, already shared everywhere else and doesn't let you take photos.
Quite overpriced I would say.
Nothing very important and meaningful to see.
I would say check the museum next to it, the science one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to see the Grandma Moses exhibition. Even though we went at opening time, there were a lot of people. There were so many wonderful works that it is hard to believe that she first picked up her brush at the age of 78.
Some of the works that left an impression on me were purchased as postcards and kept. I was glad to see Jonathan Borofsky's Hammering Man in front of the exhibition hall. This is because Korea also has the world's largest hammering man at a height of 22m.
