It was hot in Kyoto, but the inside of the museum was cool, and there were many wonderful works that healed me. When I went in May, I couldn't see it in the state of emergency, but this time I went for this. There was also a parking lot, which was good. There was a person in charge at the entrance who kindly taught me. The works of Jakuchu and Maruyama Okyo were wonderful. I also like the work of the second term. You can also visit Shokokuji Temple in September.

I went to see Ito Jakuchu. My family likes the fusuma painting of "Bashofu", but I felt that the feeling that the color emerged even though it was a sumi-e painting was wonderful. Ike no Taiga, who was a member of the same era, was also a stone's throw. I can't say whether the entrance fee is high or low, but there are few exhibits and the shop was expensive. It's a pity that the shop is where you can see the garden. However, I wonder if it was good because the exhibits are "genuine".

(出典:相国寺HPより) Shokoku-ji Temple (official name: Mannenzan Shokoku-ji Temple) is the head temple of the Rinzai sect Shokoku-ji school, which was founded by Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, the third shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate, with Muso Soseki opened in 1392.
I visited to see the Ito Jakuchu exhibition. Kinkaku-ji Temple and Ginkaku Jishoji Temple are also the main temples of the Sokokuji school. Jakuchu at the museum is full of power. The chicken is about to start moving. The exhibition of fusuma paintings of Kinkaku and Ginkaku can be done on both sides, and it is a valuable experience because you can only see it from the outside. It seems that the floor of Kinkaku is painted with black lacquer, and although it is a photograph, the scenery where the gold is reflected on the black floor feels a mystery. On the way back, I will visit the tombs of Jakuchu, Fujiwara no Teika, and Ashikaga Yoshimasa. At the museum, we received three types of red stamps, including seasonal ones, but it seems that there were other types such as Jakuchu's red stamps at the main hall. Unfortunately, at the next opportunity

First, I was surprised to know that Shokokuji Temple was so big though it was not as famous as Kiyomizudera Temple or Kamigamo Shrine. The museum was big as well and miniature replica of Golden Pavilion and exhibition of Tea House were really worth seeing. The exhibition of tea culture was nice and scenery of garden was adorable.
