林	林正美 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋の特別公開で、法堂と共に拝観させていただきました。方丈は法堂の北側に建ち、表方丈、裏方丈合わせて六間の大建築です。観音菩薩画像の掛軸の絵柄は全て法華経の経文で描かれた文字絵で、『法華観音』とも称されるそうです。お庭も表方丈と裏方丈では対照的て、表は枯山水庭園、裏は緑にあふれた美しい庭園で、京都市指定名勝になっているそうです。今の時期は紅葉が素晴らしいです。杉戸絵白象や襖絵の老梅図、御所参内用の駕籠などがあります。 It was a special exhibition in autumn, and I visited it together with the temple. Autumn leaves are wonderful at this time of year. There are white elephants in Sugito, old plums in fusuma, and kago for visiting the Imperial Palace.
