看板に龍馬'慎太郎遭難の地とある。
慶応3年(1867)11/15に、土佐藩海援隊長の坂本龍馬が盟友でもある中岡慎太郎と共に刺客に暗殺された醤油商、近江屋が有った場所。賑やかな河原町通、ひっそり感が時代の流れを感じます。まさか！東京のドンキホーテが近くに来るなんて、龍馬も想像つかなかっただろう✨
もし龍馬が好きならば、次は脱藩の罪を許され、謹慎した場所、土佐藩邸(今は小学校の跡地)へ
次は、土佐藩邸から移されたという土佐稲荷神社で参拝(ここには龍馬像が立つ)
最後は酢屋で龍馬が寝泊まりした部屋、当時の生活を懐かしむが良いかと思いますよ✋
 There is a historic site that reminds me of Ryoma Sakamoto in the middle of downtown Kyoto.
The sign says Ryoma'Shintaro, the place of distress.
The place where Omiya, a soy sauce dealer, was assassinated by a thug along with Shintaro Nakaoka, the captain of the Tosa Domain Kaientai, on November 15, 1867. The lively Kawaramachi-dori and the quiet feeling feel the passage of time. No way! Ryoma couldn't have imagined that Don Quijote in Tokyo would come nearby.
If you like Ryoma, the next step is to go to the Tosa clan's residence (now the site of an elementary school), where you were forgiven for the crime of dappan.
Next, worship at Tosa Inari Shrine, which is said to have been moved from the Tosa clan's residence (a statue of Ryoma stands here).
At the end, I think it's good to miss the room where Ryoma stayed at the vinegar shop, the life at that time ✋

On the rolling band some sushies are sometimes on risers. It was first when we ordered one using their screen system that we figured out that those on risers were ordered.. Oops.
But it was still really delicious though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love history! So Kyoto is the perfect place to see so many historical places. The site when Sakamoto Ryoma got assassinated is just right at the busy street of Kawaramachi. Easy to reach with bus or from Hankyu Line or Keihan Line... the location also near from Teramachi
