★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and delicious ramen here! Quick serving and cheap compared to its size.
Saw many people order one ramen with fried rice so we ordered one as well. As to my surprise, it got along very good!!
Nice charred from wok in fried rice added a nice aroma to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ramen and fantastic fried rice! Pretty cheap and great eats. Watch out for the line though, it can get pretty long. Don't bring a party more than 4 here as it's pretty tight quarters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may not be as crazy famous as the ramen shop next door, but it’s still definitely worth dropping in. Especially because the lines aren’t as long. The average wait was around 20 minutes (from my experience).
The soy broth is absolutely delicious and a great change from your normal pork broth ramen. Noodles are chewy and delicious, and the pork meat they use is absolutely tender.
Make sure you also order their fried rice!!!! Absolutely delicious. Only call out is this store is that it is a little small and crammed, but if you’re willing to put up with it, then it’s defo worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the 中華そば (chūka soba). It had a good soy flavored soup. The noodles were really nice. The チャーシュー (pork fillets) were juicy with the right mix of fat and meat. I also had bamboo shoots in mine which didn't really add anything - they were probably canned.
The ヤキメシ (fried rice) was bomb. It was fried just right and had tons of flavor.
All of the tables had some spicy miso. I put a healthy dose of this in my ramen and this is what blasted the ramen into the stratosphere. It added a lot of flavor to a ramen that would have been pretty meh. Without the spicy miso this place would have been three stars but the miso alone pushed it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent soy sauce based ramen, very close to Kyoto station.
The ramen type is called chuka soba. Chuka soba are characterized by deep black soup and thick noodles.
You might think that the taste is very salty, but it isn't at all. the whole thing tastes very hearty.
Also try the paste that is on the table! that gives the soup a special kick.
The shop looks like it hasn't been renovated since it opened in 1938, I like that. 100% recommendable
