★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smallish museum with a lot of interesting historical info. Unfortunately there is very little English and photos are only allowed in certain spots. Worth a visit if you enjoy museums, though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not a famous museum in Tokyo, nor many corrections. It’s not well known but it’s enough to know about Tokyo especially Shinjuku area. I spent around 2 hours to know how this city has been developed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small museum about the history of Shinjuku. Unfortunately, almost all displayed text is in Japanese only - but the staff gives you an English brochure with some of the text translated. The museum covers the history of Shinjuku since prehistoric times to the end of Showa era, with most of the items from early Showa. A nice travel to the past, for only 300 yen.
