★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 愛住町から靖国通りへと抜ける階段状の坂。昔、坂の両脇に樹木が生い茂っていたためこの名が付いたそう。古地図を見ると「闇坂」と表記されている。この坂の横、斜めに通る車道は1950年頃に出来たもので、暗坂ではない。
A step-shaped hill that runs from Aizumi-cho to Yasukuni-dori. In the past, this was named because trees were growing on both sides of the slope. Looking at the old map, it is written as "Yamisaka". The diagonal road beside this slope was built around 1950 and is not a dark slope.

階段そのものよりも両脇の建物の基礎部分が気になります。
Although it was shorter than I expected, there is a moderate elevation difference.
I am more concerned about the foundations of the buildings on both sides than the stairs themselves.

Enjoy darkness there preferably at night, though now no trees, yet too bright and too secure.
