★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一名に切通坂とも書かれていますが、左右がここよりも高い感じがしませんからその後大分に整地したんですかね。まあ雰囲気があると言うかそういう香りが伝わってくるいいところです。

この坂を帯坂といいます。名称は歌舞伎で有名な番町皿屋敷の旗本青山播磨の腰元お菊が髪をふり乱し帯を引きずってにげたという伝説によります。また一名切通し坂ともいわれたのは、寛永年間（1624～1643）外堀普請の後に市ケ谷御門へ抜ける道として切り通されたのでその名がつけられたといいます。

This slope is called Obizaka. The name is based on the legend that Ogiku Koshimoto of Aoyama Harima, who is the famous flaghouse in Bancho Saraya in Kabuki, disturbed his hair and dragged his obi. Also, it is said that one person cuts the slope because it was cut as a way to go to Ichigaya Gomon after the Sotobori building in the Kanei period (1624-1643).
