加	加藤昌広 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつては、駅近くが海水浴場で、夏場はこの駅の利用者が非常に多く大混雑でした。今は、特急が停車しますが、夏場でも利用者はさほど多くありません。ただし、特急停車駅に昇格して駅舎やホームがかなりリニューアルして、綺麗になりました。海水浴場は、徒歩15分程の新舞子マリンパークで出来ます。海を埋め立てて出来た人工海浜で、駅からは橋を渡って向かいます。海浜は公園になっていて、海水浴のシーズンOFFでも利用出来ます。目印は、風力発電の風車2基。一度訪れてみるのもいいかと思います。名古屋駅から特急なら、所要時間はおよそ30分弱。ちなみに、新舞子とゆう名称は、兵庫県の舞子から名付けられたらしいです。愛知県の三河の碧南市の地名、明石などと同じ理由です。 In the past, there was a beach near the station, and in the summer, there were many users of this station and it was very crowded. If you use the limited express from Nagoya Station, it will take less than 30 minutes. By the way, it seems that the name "Shin Maiko" was named after Maiko in Hyogo Prefecture. The reason is the same as the place name and Akashi of Hekinan City in Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture.
k	kashi ken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新しくキレイにはなったものの、周辺には目を引くお店等は無く、ただマリンパークに行く為だけの駅です。もうちょっと自販機の種類を増やしたり、公衆トイレを設置したり出来てたら評価もし易いのにと思います。 Although it is new and beautiful, there are no eye-catching shops in the area, and it is just a station for going to the marine park. Besides this station, you can find convenient store but it doesn't operate 24 hr. If you want something at early morning or at night, you have to walk about 500m.
