自販機が多く、有りました。 トイレも備えられており、充実した駅で有ると思います。

実際行ったことはありませんが、太田川~常滑間の途中駅で、空港線開業の際に移転し、唯一待避線可能な島式2面4線の駅、唯一ホーム有効長が唯一8両編成分に対応している、更には留置線があること、以上の要素が重なって立派な駅になっています。移転以前は相対式2面2線の6両編成分対応だったようです。 原則は各駅停車しか停車しませんが、平日朝は各駅停車の間に急行が2本連続で無理やり特別停車を行い、前者はミュースカイの通過待ちして次は常滑に停車。後者は快速急行の通過待ちして更に続いて蒲池と、続いて榎戸と、特別停車が3駅連続、西ノ口駅の2駅手前の新舞子からは5駅連続して停車しています。 留置線にはミュースカイが昼寝しています。 因みに快速急行・特急停車駅の尾張横須賀・朝倉・新舞子、準急・急行停車駅の寺本・大野町では6両編成分しかありません!更にいうと、古見駅では上り・名古屋方面は6両編成分に対して、下り・空港方面は民家がジャマしていて4両編成分しかありません。

各駅停車の普通列車が停まる駅で、無人駅です。 上下線共に待避線があり、優等列車が普通列車などを追い越す事が出来ます。 セントレアが開港する前に、現在地に移転しました。 名古屋方面線路の側に、側線があり、昼間使用しないミュースカイが、一編成置いてある時があります。 駅への出入口は、上下線のどちらにもあって、改札口は跨線橋の上にあるけど、エレベーターやエスカレーターは設置されてません。 ホームに行くには、一旦跨線橋の階段を使って上の改札口まで行く事になるので、バリアフリーには対応してません! ホームから改札口へも、階段のみなので、同様ですね! 昼間以降は、利用者が少ないので、静かな佇まいの駅です。 駅から、徒歩5分くらいの場所に、コンビニ、100円ショップのセリアがあります。 田畑側を抜けた山の手の方です。

This station is for local trains only. You may have difficulty to take trains at this station because the number of tains are only two per hour. You might find no convenient shops for tourist even if you walk around east side and west side using the bridge across railroad.
