Small but a fantastic castle in the middle of the city.. you can go here if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of green nature.. beautiful gardens anywhere here, statues and historic places.. little museum inside the castle, entrance fee needed.. you can see the beautiful city view of hamamatsu..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cool place to see the Hamamatsu city from a higher ground. You can also see the tip of Mt. Fuji when the weather permits.
We enjoyed reading the history and appreciated the works of arts, and the architecture. There is a 200 yen entrance fee to get inside the castle which is turned into a museum. The displayed items show the relics of the Japanese people and its government several decades ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and there was some kind of festival there, it was packed. There were a lot of people because the scenery was amazing! We enjoyed looking at the cherry blossoms! But waiting to park your car will definitely take 1-2 hours so be prepared to wait.
