★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldn't change a thing! Super fresh and tasty sushi, the owners were lovely and we got by easily speaking no Japanese. Cosy little place but easily got a seat around 8pm. Would definitely go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a hidden gem. Wandered in here on a whim after seeing it pretty busy. The owners (husband and wife) were incredibly welcoming and despite their limited English still managed to communicate well. Did have an English menu though I opted for one of the sets, so it wasn't super necessary.
The fish was fresh and absolutely delicious! Best sushi I've had, and I've tried a good bit (mostly in the US - but still). Stayed for a bit after finishing my food to chat with the owners and a few of the locals. Great atmosphere, even better food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Withdrew more cash halfway through the meal so we could keep on eating more. It’s THAT good. Price to value is on point and the owners are SO incredibly sweet. Their English is decent but they have pictures that are super helpful. Our favorites: fatty tuna roll, sweet shrimp, squid (ika). Get your sushi fix here, you won’t regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This sushi restaurant deserves much more recognition. I went alone and spent almost 8,000 yen just on sushi and drinks. It is managed by two elderly couples, and they are very nice and helpful. It also has English menus available.
Here are some of my faves:
- Fatty tuna
- Flatfish or a flounder
- Water eel
- Tuna
It was a little hard to find, but just ask any locals around and they’ll help you.
