They don't have an English menu, but for the adventurous eater looking for fresh fare to balance those easy-to-find heavier foods this is a good place to check out.
C	Chris Wolf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very fresh and friendly Izakaya restaurant with an emphasis on farm to table produce, and a staff that's willing to help out of town tourists. They have an English menu and several staff that also spoke English. There was a variety of fresh vegetables, available with tempura, steamed or with a local cheese sauce. The prices were reasonable and the meal was excellent.

Although this place only provides menu in Japanese but the waitress is very helpful to explain with a good standard of English. The food is amazing. As a meat lover I'm more than satisfied with the mostly vege-based dishes on the order. Highly recommend.

Rice with bacon was awesome, as was the cheesy tofu. In fact we got the feeling anything we picked would have been outstanding. And it didn’t hurt the wallet much either. Hunt it out, and try to sit at the bar!
G	Glen Balekjian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh and super tasty veggies from their own farm. Amazing beef. All plates are just awesome. The chef helps you himself with the order and all the staff super friendly and helpful. Amazing. Pro tip: the door is quite hidden! Also, sit at the bar.

We were lucky they could squeeze us in just before 6pm, it was busy. The farm to table concept is great. Let the ingredients speak for themselves. Best described as Japanese / western fusion. Really delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Recommended the karaage chicken, tomato gratin, sashimi and bamboo. Nice break from the more traditional Japanese cuisine. English menu available. Helpful and patient staff. Frequented by locals.

This place is a modern, innovative take on Japanese cuisine, advertised as "farm-to-table". Reservation required, but they squeezed us in because we showed up when the restaurant opened. Every dish was delicious, our favorites were the pork wrapped okra and salmon/avocado pate. Staff was friendly and willing to use Google translate for English.
