星	星野文次五郎 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつては古い駅舎があったが今ではだいぶ変わった。トイレもあるためとても便利。駐車場が2台程のスペースしか無いので迎えは早めの方が良い。そのため後からきた迎えの車が路駐してることが多く混雑して迷惑がかかるのでくれぐれも路駐はしないように…(たまに大型トラックが通るので) 利用する人はそこそこ多い気がする。田舎なので当然電車の本数が少ないので乗り遅れには注意。(一時間から二時間に一本ぐらい) また客待ちのタクシーが止まっていることがある。また昔貨物も扱ってたのでその名残としてそれ用のホームがある。 There used to be an old station building, but now it has changed a lot. For the railway buffs: Shibakawa Station was opened on March 1, 1915 as a terminal station of the original Fuji-Minobu Line for both passenger and freight services. The line was extended past Shibukawa by 1918. It came under control of the Japanese Government Railways on May 1, 1941. The JGR became the JNR (Japan National Railway) after World War II. Freight services were discontinued in 1972. Along with the division and privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control and operation of the Central Japan Railway Company. Operations by the limited express Fujikawa were discontinued in 1995. From 1998, the station building has been unattended. Shibukawa Station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks, with a third track on a headshunt to permit passage of express trains. The station building has automated ticket machines, automated turnstiles and is unmanned.
