ホ	ホリカワアキヒロ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大田市の中心駅です。みどりの窓口もあり、島根県の山陰本線では主要駅の一つに入ります。駅構内は、駅員さんも居る、キヨスクも営業している、コインロッカーもある、タクシーも常駐しています。世界遺産石見銀山の玄関口で、駅前の路線バスが石見銀山まで行っています。出雲市、松江方面からなら、特急、快速を含めれば一時間に一本程度ありますが、バスの時間は調べてから行った方が良さそうです。駅前には喫茶店が二軒と少し離れてショッピングセンターがありました。大田市の中心商店街は駅から少し離れていましたので、石見銀山に行かれる際はキオスクで食料を買っておいた方が良さそうです。 It is the central station of Ota city. There is also a green window, which is one of the main stations on the Sanin Main Line in Shimane Prefecture. Inside the station, there are station staff, kiosks are open, coin lockers are available, and taxis are also on-site. At the gateway to the World Heritage Iwami Ginzan, a bus in front of the station goes to Iwami Ginzan. From Izumo City and Matsue, there is only one train per hour including limited express and rapid trains, but it seems better to check the bus time before you go. There was a shopping center in front of the station, apart from two coffee shops. The central shopping district of Ota City was a little far from the station, so it would be better to buy food at the kiosk when going to Iwami Ginzan.
M	Morino A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前に何があるわけじゃないですが、石見銀山行くなら観光案内所の方がバス乗り場などで丁寧に説明してくれます。コインロッカーも数は多くありませんが駅の外にあります。 What does not mean that there is in front of the station, but if you go to Iwami Ginzan, the tourist information center will explain carefully at the bus stop etc. There are not many coin lockers, but they are located outside the station.

七	七面鳥放浪記 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石見銀山の最寄り駅ですが、駅周辺は閑散としています。都会で暮らしていると、とりあえず駅前まで行けば何とかなるだろうと考えがちですが、このあたりは車社会なのでどうにもなりません。無計画に行動すると電車が来るまで途方にくれるはめになるので気をつけましょう。そうはいっても普通の駅なので評価は★三つです。 It is the closest station to Iwami Ginzan, but the area around the station is quiet. When I live in the city, I tend to think that if I go to the front of the station, I'll manage to do something, but this is a car society, so I can't do anything about it. Be aware that if you act carelessly, you will be at a loss until the train arrives. That being said, since it is an ordinary station, the rating is ★3.

の	のた on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公共交通機関で石見銀山に行こうとする時に使う駅。2022年1月下旬地点でコインロッカーが封鎖されていたので荷物を預けることが出来ずに困った。バスに乗って石見銀山のエリアに行くと何箇所かコインロッカーがあるのでそこを使うと良いよ。レンタルサイクルを使うとそこで荷物を預かってもらうことも出来る。バスはSuica非対応なので千円札を持って乗ろう。 The station used when going to Iwami Ginzan by public transportation. Since the coin locker was closed at the end of January 2022, I was in trouble because I couldn't leave my luggage. If you take a bus to the Iwami Ginzan area, there are several coin lockers, so you should use them. If you use the rental cycle, you can have your luggage stored there. The bus does not support Suica, so take a 1000-yen bill with you.
