駅前商店の自動販売機で飲料水を購入することが出来ます。
駅にはトイレがないので、訪れるときにはご注意を。
The station is close to the sea and has a very nice atmosphere.
You can buy drinking water from the vending machine at the station square store.
There is no toilet at the station, so be careful when visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ＪＲ五十猛駅から西へ行き。国道９号線を越えたところに〔神別れ坂〕と記した碑が建っている（跨線橋を越えたところ）。スサノオノミコトらの神々がお別れになったという伝説の地。
この碑は島多豆夫の歌碑でもあり、
いたけるの神のむかしのわかれ坂かへり見しつゝ袖しぼりけむ
が刻まれている。また隣に、松原光雄の歌碑も建っていて、
いにしえのロマン秘めたる神々の歴史きざまんいそたけの郷
