The information booth and ticket booths had wonderful workers, in particular the kind woman who spoke English; she helped direct me to the next train after I missed mine. She even helped me contact my hotel because I was so hopelessly lost. I wish I could thank her a thousand times for her generosity and help! The shops have wonderful snacks and cute gifts too.

N	Nat Fine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice station with lots of amenities but the buses are extremely hectic and challenging to navigate. And the coin lockers are in the basement food court. What kind of station puts coin lockers in the food court? You can find them if you take the stairs down towards the bus loop out front. Head into the food area and the lockers are about halfway down the hallway. Pay with IC card or cash (accepts bills as well).

Surprisingly it is the very first time in our visit we see some trash on the station. Normally all stations are as clean as it gets. The info staff is great and with a great understanding of English. The stores are full of local stores and you must try all fruit related products!
M	MeT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful modern station which is clean efficient and quite large. Staff n Officials are very helpful and friendly. There are many different outlets n facilities within the station itself. Many food outlets n restaurants, souvenir shops, apparel n gift shops etc. There are bus stops nearby the exit where one can board to go to various destinations- it’s very convenient. The ground n lower floors are where many of the FnB outlets/restaurants are located. Prices are generally average in cost depending on what u wish to eat. Shopping for souvenirs here is recommended as the main souvenir shop has a wide variety at reasonable prices. As in most large stations in Japan, Okayama station is not only a transport/train hub but seeks to also have many interesting aspects to it. A quick walkabout may prove interesting. Highly recommended! ?We also pray n hope for the safety of all the residents in Okayama because of the great flood. ?
Z	Zella Quizeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried their Anpanman train 4x. ? From Okayama-Kagawa-Tokushima and back. We tried only 3 types (blue, yellow and red). The first train (blue one) has an open space at the back where you can enjoy the view of the sea. It was the best out of the three. The yellow one has a playroom inside the train (one car) and kids get to enjoy it but if there are lots of passengers, then it might come out too crowded. The red one has just Anpanman seats, no open space and no playroom.
