駅の出入口は南側にしかなく、その駅前には関ヶ原駅前観光交流館があります。
建物内には関ヶ原の戦いに関連したお土産がずらりと並んでいて、コインロッカーには関ヶ原で戦った武将の家紋と推定兵力の表示があり、これを見てテンションはMAX状態に！！！
関ヶ原駅にも家紋、循環バスには武将のイラストなど、戦国ファンの方には是非とも足を運んで頂きたい場所です♪

The entrance to the station is only on the south side, and in front of that station is the Sekigahara Station Tourist Exchange Center.
Souvenirs related to the Battle of Sekigahara are lined up in the building, and the coin locker has the family crest of the warlord who fought in Sekigahara and the estimated troop strength, and when you see this, the tension is in the MAX state! !! !!
Sekigahara station also has a family crest, and the circulation bus has an illustration of a military commander, so it is a place that Sengoku fans should definitely visit ♪

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関ケ原合戦場に一番近い駅。合戦記念館へも歩いて行けます。駅舎自体はレトロな感じ。駅前に交流館(お土産もの・レンタサイクルなど)もありますが、飲食店はなかったように思います。
The station closest to the Battle of Sekigahara. You can also walk to the battle memorial hall. The station building itself has a retro feel. There is an exchange hall (souvenirs, bicycle rental, etc.) in front of the station, but I don't think there was a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岐阜県の端っこの駅。となりの駅は滋賀県にある。近くに町営の自転車置き場があるが、あまりメンテされていない。
Gifu prefecture's edge station. The next station is in Shiga prefecture. There is a town-run bicycle storage area nearby, but it is not well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雪ということで、名古屋まで車で来て、関ヶ原へは電車で来ました。
名古屋も岐阜も晴れていましたが、関ヶ原へ来ると空は曇りで一面銀世界でした。
伊吹山も雪が被っていて、山頂は雪雲で見えませんでした。
さすが、関ヶ原！
雪が降らない土地の者からすれば、雪はテンションが上がります。
豊臣秀吉は別に好きではありませんが、私は石田三成派です(^^;
Because of the snow, I came to Nagoya by car and to Sekigahara by train.
Both Nagoya and Gifu were sunny, but when I came to Sekigahara, the sky was cloudy and it was a silver world.
Mt. Ibuki was also covered with snow, and the summit was not visible due to snow clouds.
As expected, Sekigahara!
For those in the land where it doesn't snow, the tension rises in the snow.
I don't like Toyotomi Hideyoshi, but I'm Ishida Mitsunari (^^;

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関ヶ原。名前は知っているがどこにあるのか分からない。
歴史好きじゃないと誰と誰が戦ったのか、何の為に戦ったのか、結果どうなったのか、そんな場所である。
吾人もこの辺りを通過する時は大抵は新幹線か高速なのであまり気にするような場所ではなかったのだが、そう言えば関ヶ原ってなんだっけ？と思って立ち寄ってみた。
駅前はネームバリューのわりには地味であり、関ヶ原の合戦場も広すぎてどこが中心的存在なのかもイマイチわからない。
駅も和風なのか洋風なのかもよくわからず、なんというか中途半端という言葉がよく似合う。
観光地として頑張りたいのであれば、もう少し駅前にイクサっぽいものがあってもいい気がするのだが。
