其処から山居倉庫裏手側の欅並木に抜ける事も可能です。
この神社の面白い所はその名前。
山居倉庫内に有る、お稲荷様なのに名前が山居では有りません。
三居稲荷なのです。
不思議に感じるも説明の看板をみると、その謎は解けます。
元々は山居稲荷神社と言う名前だったのだそうです。
それが他所の稲荷神社二柱と此方の山居稲荷神社の一柱、合わせて三柱を合祀したのだそうです。
面白いのは、此処から。
その際に元々山居稲荷と名乗っていた神社を三柱の稲荷を合わせたのだからと今の「三居稲荷神社」と改名したのだそうです。
そうです。三居の三には山居倉庫の山と言う意味を含みながらも三柱のお稲荷様と言う当時の人々の洒落たセンスが込められている訳です。
本当にそうなのかは分かりませんが。
看板見ると大体そんな感じ何だろ？と解釈しました。

At that time, the shrine that was originally called Yamai Inari was renamed to the current "Mitsui Inari Shrine" because it combined the three pillars of Inari.
That's right. Although the meaning of Sankyo Soko is the mountain of Sankyo Soko, it has the stylish sense of the people of the time, Inari-sama, the three pillars.
