★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice temple to visit on a peaceful Sunday. They were running a festival when I happened upon their premise, and had really old-school games and such.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful temple in Meguro. If you like festivals, on the 28th of every month, the temple hosts a small festival that has many food stalls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wide enough temple in a busy city! the temple is bit far from meguro station, but if you took a bus, it will save your energy. but this place if worth visit if you love temple with natural japanese feeling, sometimes, a festival also being held there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 瀧泉寺 Ryūsenji/目黒不動尊 Meguro Fudōson Temple.
Meguro Ward is named for the black eyed deity enshrined here.
The shrine is accessed either by the Men's or Women's Slope stairs. Even after climbing the slopes, there are still more stairs ascending to the sanctuary. There are many statues scattered around the precincts of the temple that are worth attention.
