p	ponsuke Ponsuke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 勢至堂は地味目ですが、こちらはすぐ近くの赤い目立つ不動堂で、江戸時代中期創建、東京都指定有形文化財の貴重な建物です。目黒区生涯学習課の解説より。目黒不動として親しまれている瀧泉寺境内、独鈷の滝左側に前不動堂(まえふどうどう)はあります。江戸時代、将軍や大名の参拝があると、庶民は本堂へは近づけませんでした。このため、庶民の便宜を図って建立したものといわれています。江戸時代後期に刊行された「江戸名所図会」にも現在地付近に描かれており、江戸中期の仏堂建築として、当時の姿をよく保っています。また、附(つけたり)として指定されている「前不動堂」と書かれた扁額には「左玄龍書」の署名があり、建立当時のものと推測されます。著者の佐々木玄龍(1650〜1722)は当時一世を風靡した書家です。以上。勢至堂同様に、度重なる火災を免れた江戸中期の貴重な建物です。 Sekido is a sober one, but this one is a red-colored Fudo-do nearby and is a valuable building of a tangible cultural property that was founded in the middle of the Edo period and designated as a Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
