★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free entry to the public but accepts donations as it is privately owned and run. There is an English guidebook available for 300yen. Easy to find, small but very educational. Many of the exhibits had English translations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool little place! I've been waiting to see this since I was a kid. It's small and modest, but gives a great overview of basic parasitology. Lots of preserved specimens, with explanations of life cycles and research. Not a ton of English, but enough to get the idea. You only need a short visit here, but I would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free, but you are welcome to donate ( I certainly have!).
There are 2 floors of information, in japanese and a lot in English too.
There are samples of parasites, how they evolve and their lifecycle, their effect on humans and animals etc. So much knowledge!
There is a secured wifi and lockers for small and big bags for 100 yen.
This place is a must for anyone, except for people who don't like blood/disgusting things :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a unique experience, the Parasitological Museum will not disappoint, as it is dedicated entirely to parasites. Realistic life-sized and enlarged models of parasites are on display, including the world's largest known tapeworm. The first floor of the museum focuses on a general overview of parasites and their purpose. The second floor is more specific to the different types of parasite, showcasing over 300 specimens. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted as they are a nonprofit charitable organization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting and informative museum. It feels like I'm revisiting high school biology. The displays are awesome where there are stories behind how parasites infect humans and animals. It really shows how careful we have to be when handling food and animals. Even the 8.8m tape worm went almost undetected for the host. That's a big parasite to hold in your body!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free museum, donations welcome. A unique, small place that may educate you on parasites. Gift shop on the second floor that sells T-shirts and other things. Mostly Japanese text but there are English options on the touch screens. It’s about a 15-30 minute visit, longer if you want to gaze at the specimens. Creepy.
