★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the cheapest place to have lunch or dinner but very good food and nice atmosphere. The drink bar and great view from the panorama windows makes you want to sit there forever though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of all the family restaurants in Kyoto, this is the one I like the most. Royal Host has several kid menu options and at least a dozen child seats, so they are well prepared to receive families with children. Place and staff are quite nice, which is obviously a plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, simple and relatively cheap place to eat with the family, although there are slightly more expensive options on the menu. Food is consistent in quality, & you get what you see on the menu. Most of the menu is burger (hamburger steak) or real beef steak, some pork steak, but there are also a few other dishes such as pasta, fried potato, and omelette rice etc. There’s a child’s menu too. Sometimes they change the menus a little bit but they’ll always have steak, pasta and something for the children. Service is efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good restaurant, many options, including western and specific Japanese. Reasonable prices, it does not look expensive to me. A party of 4 - we payed around 50 euros for lunch, all included, hard to find this in Europe. Very polite staff and very nice venue! Thank you!
