★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was extremely pricey with no price stated on each item. Atmosphere and the setting of the restaurant is good. Waiter was attentive and entertaining but definitely not worth the price to pay. You can have much better food and hospitality in Tokyo than this. When we asked for the bill it was not itemised but with just the total amount. For a dinner for 2 pax, the total bill was shocking ¥42,000. We didn’t even eat much... definitely won’t come back to this restaurant. Total rip off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a tourist experience. Almost no locals and all foreigners eat there. Come if you want to experience them cook in front of you, catch a live shrimp and prepare it before your eyes, do clapping and audience participation as they make mochi and serve your food in a long paddle towards you. The food was good but definitely not worth the price. You could get food this good at another place. There are no prices nor menus so you'll just be pointing at food choices in front of you and be shocked when the bill comes.

They refuse to give any priced menu, and with little food we got a super expensive bill.
It’s simply lack of transparency, a tourist trap. We don’t mind paying for Michelin price but consumer deserve right to know the price at first place.
No published price, unacceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere, very entretaining, very nice people and kobe is great!! There is no menu or pices so be sure to ask for them if you dont want to be surpised when you get the check. I would definitely recomend this place!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing food and experience at this restaurant. All the food is laid out infront of you and you get to choose what they cook for you, also infront of you. Great atmosphere, small restaurant. Very expensive. Cannot stress that enough. Definitely need a reservation, so make one! A must when visiting Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reading the reviews here about being ripped off, and I can sort of understand why - this is not a cheap place. Made a reservation for a dinner for two on New Year's Eve given it was a last-minute trip, and that ended up costing just under ¥40,000. However it's a good dining experience with the performance aspect of the two cooks in the middle. Won't be back any time soon but worth a special meal for the holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Headed here with a group of ten people after Sumo. It was an amazing experience. Every single bite of food was delicious.
But, I don't know that we were prepared for the bill.
We had, 10 chicken skewers, 10 prawn skewers, 10 waygu skewers, 2 sashimi bowls, 10 mixed veggies, and 4 fish. Probably 15-18 beers and 3 yamazaki 12 years
For a grand total of 206,618¥
All in all, it was amazing...... however I can think of a could of dozen other places that are just as fun and have great food a stone's throw from this place.
I am not saying don't go here, because it really is good. Had I known the price level I would have waited to go with just my wife.
