X	Xan Varcoe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An upmarket and reasonable seafood bistro offering a range of seafood options and great wine selection. We ate the set meal featured a range of dishes and flavours, recommended. The large oysters and grilled fish stood as particularly tasty. Although the dishes themselves are not particularly large, the set meal has so many dishes that you're stuffed by the end. Enjoy!
L	Loys Le Goff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had dinner there with some acquaintances, and was overall very satisfied. The cold starters (a "chilli con white fish", a potato salad with white fish and sashimi with salad) were tasty and quite filling, which was great as I was starving. Then came the more delicate fare: grilled fish (a red snapper and... something I don't know), maybe a tad overcooked but still rather delicious. Then we had baby squids in hot garlicky oil, and a massive assortment of grilled shellfish and prawns - tiptop! They were served with a good mix of grilled vegetables, as were the fish by the way. We finished off with spaghetti in a sea bass tomato sauce, which was one of my favourites - tasty and filling. The group went with entry level white wine and the cava (sparkling wine), and the cava was clearly better - it also went well with everything. The wine list was very comprehensive, with many New World bottles and some pretty exotic countries. The service was swift, efficient, and bilingual. All in all, a great place if you're in the mood for Mediterranean-style seafood. The desserts looked great too, my only regret is not to have tried them too!

There’s a fairly standard drink menu offering but I was very impressed with the fish bologenese it was fantastic and first of its kind I had eaten, the other dishes were very fresh, especially the oysters since I don’t particularly like them normally but I found the ones here to be delicious. You can enjoy a quiet dinner as it’s not a huge place and also has a large window/glass side view all g the street. My only complaints are the overall wait for food could be considered long as well as I know a few people who are not fans of restaurants with bathrooms directly adjacent to the kitchen.
n	natchan san on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great time at Sakana Bar Grill! We shared a diner with friends. Fish is the main core of the menu as well as other seafood. Everything we tried -fishes, shells, oysters…- was very fresh. Among the best, I would recommend “the grilled fish & vegetable” plates: the fishes are well cooked, the plate is nice, tasty and well presented. If you are missing oysters, the seafood plate –“Assorted grilled seafood” - will satisfy you: various shells, good oysters, grilled shrimps… A filled plate!! We also tried the “seafood ajillo”: good starter and original. Finally, I have really appreciated the “Smoked Skipjack tuna Bolognaise” : delicious !! Among the drink menu -large choices of a drinks-, we tasted the wines -good and large choice from all over the world- and the beer –“The premium malts Ale”- which is also good. In the end, not to mention the kindness of the staff as well as the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant: it is an opened kitchen with a bar, but you can also eat at a table. For the area, it is quite affordable. Nice place! I would definitely recommend for a nice and tasty moment around the sea food!

The prawns and fish were so fresh and the seasoning was great, the staffs were friendly, and the entire environment was inviting and warm. We even popped a bottle of wine. It was a cold and rainy night before we entered the restaurant but without a doubt we stepped outside the restaurant with a full stomach and we were all very satisfied and happy. Will definitely come here again once we get the chance to visit Japan again.
R	Ramesh Krishnan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh, where do I even begin about the food!? AMAZING dishes, great atmosphere, decor, diligent service, fantastic location. This restaurant has everything a diner asks for and more. A great selection of wines and reasonable on the wallet. We were a group of 12 friends who visited this place last week. And we were glad! Straight off the bat, we got some lovely wine (mine was French Bourdeoux) and some fresh salad. There was a carpaccio that was light, fresh, and delightful! Then, we were served some fresh sensational seafood ~ including gigantic oysters, clams and shrimp, with grilled vegetables. The seafood was fresh and did not smell fishy at all (which means they literally buy it everyday) and we couldn't compliment it enough. This was followed by a mussels pasta which was well-made, al-dente. Then we enjoyed a grilled white monk fish (?) and a red snapper (?) both grilled to perfection. I wish we had more of this restaurant. We were all satiated and full. The staff is very attentive. And the place is literally a stroll from Roppongi station. It's very close to all the major sights in that area. Even the potato salad here was cooked to perfection! Hope to go again

The restaurant itself is very casual yet classy and you can watch the chefs prepare the food, which is always cool. All of the food we ordered was excellent, especially the ajillo and seafood. The drinks were quite good as well both in variety and quality, and the white wine I ordered went well with everything. Definitely worth checking out!
