★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 笠寺観音の西門から入ったすぐ右側にお堂があります。お堂の中には、六角形の石柱があり、六つの面にお地蔵さんが六体彫られている。一石六地蔵と呼ばれ、珍しい形の六地蔵である。六地蔵とは地蔵菩薩の六分身を言う。生前の行為の善悪によって、人は死後に地獄・畜生・餓鬼・修羅・人・天という六道の境涯を輪廻転生すると言われるが、そのそれぞれに衆生救済のために配される檀陀・宝印・宝珠・持地・除蓋障・日光の六地蔵を言う。
The hall is on the right side of the entrance from the west gate of Kasadera Kannon. Inside the hall, there are hexagonal stone pillars, and six Jizo statues are carved on six sides. It is called Ichiishi Rokujizo, and it is a rare form of Rokujizo. Rokujizo is the six-part body of the Jizo Bodhisattva. It is said that people reincarnate after death through the boundaries of the six ways of hell, brute, hunger, shura, people, and heaven, depending on the good and bad of their actions during their lifetime.・ The six Jizo of jewels, possessions, lid removal obstacles, and sunlight.
