★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb example of Japanese architecture. The enormous gate and the clean lines of the temple are a moving sight. At this time of year (early April) the many Sakura in bloom add to the majesty of the compound. It is located not far from Nagoya station and is therefore easily accessed by car, public transport, bike or on foot. An altogether lovely place.

Very old grounds, but most of the main buildings are newer. Giant main hall for worship and safe distances. No Goshuin at this location.
