★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本のある立ち飲み屋さん。常連さんが多く和やかな雰囲気。元ラーメン屋の店長ということで、あぶらめんを食べたかったが、麺が切れていたので、豚皿という二郎系ラーメントッピング部分のもやしとチャーシューに。これがおいしい！居酒屋の定番メニューにするべきレベル。
ドリンクも種類豊富で値段も安くおいしかったです！
 Standing bar with books. Atmosphere with many regulars. As a former ramen shop manager, I wanted to eat oil noodles, but because the noodles were out of it, I turned the pork dish into a sprouts and char siu of the Jiro-type rament topping. This is delicious! The level that should be the standard izakaya menu.
The drinks were rich and the prices were cheap and delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ アボガドと生姜のかき揚げはサクッとして美味しい。オレンジ麦酒がオレンジジュースないから出来ないとかそんな言い訳はしないで欲しい。
やっぱり京都のお店は、でももう行かないなあ。
The fried avocado and ginger is crispy and delicious. Don't make excuses that orange beer can't be done because it doesn't have orange juice.
After all, the shops in Kyoto aren't going anymore.

美味しかったです。
本屋と飲食が融合した店です。
I ate "Fried pork hat garlic" and "Pork dish".
It was delicious.

A cheap and fun standing bar. The age group is young, so it's better not to go with a drunken man

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昼間は本屋モード夕方5時からはバーモードって感じのカフェのようなバーのような立ち飲み屋のような本屋。
本は食に関するエッセイ、小説が多いかな。あと絵本も食に関するもので兎に角本は全て食に関するものばかりのセレクトショップ。
アルコール類も肴も安い！
Bookstore mode in the daytime From 5:00 in the evening, a bar-like cafe-like bar that feels like a bar mode.
The book has many essays and novels about food. Also picture books are about food, and rabbits and Kakumoto are all select shops.
Both alcohol and appetizers are cheap!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here if you're American. You are not welcome. They won't show you a menu, and they will embarrass you in front of all other patrons. This by far is the worst experience and place I have had in Kyoto. Please stay away if you are American or any other nationalona/ethnicity. We watched as they turned away multiple different groups as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local place at great prices. To the people saying "foreigners aren't welcome," that's completely untrue. There is a gin bar that caters mainly to tourists downstairs and 3-4 times a day a group of tourists will come upstairs, thinking its part of the gin bar, and then go back downstairs. You'd get pretty annoyed, too. Just say you're here for Revolution Books and you'll be fine.
