“Owasami Mikoto Shrine” is located at the foot of the village at the forefront of the village, crossing the Miyami Bridge over the Sami River flowing through the Kamisami Village.
In front of the Torii gate, there is an intangible folk cultural property, a lion dance is dedicated every year in the precincts, and a protected cultural property, a wooden Kirin lion head is used at that time. Will it be dedicated? ..
Kirin lion dances come to each house at the other festivals of other village shrines.
After the dance, it was said that the child grows quickly when the child's head is bitten by a Kirin lion, and he was happy to bite it, and when he was young, he was bitten with fear. That's why Kirin Lion Dance is a traditional performing art in the Inaba region.
