★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「杉森神社」境内には水路が掘られ水が滔々と流れ巡っています。
鳥居をぐぐり直ぐのその石橋を渡るとそこは神聖な領域です。
身を清めようと流水に手を浸すと、ひんやりとしました。
御神木の杉や古木が神社拝殿、本殿を護っており境内は静謐で清冽です。
長い間をいつもかわりなく四季の季節の推移を繰り返したきた証が常夜燈や石段等に現れています。
「杉森神社」は砂見川県道沿いに鎮座ですから古来から道行く人の崇拝を集めました。朝早く神戸の谷から鳥取の長谷に出てそこから千代川を舟で下り鳥取城下に商いに出掛けた人も途中で参詣したことでしょう。
神社は多くの人々を見てきました。

”Sugimori Shrine” is located along the road in Sunamigawa prefecture, so it has been worshiped by people who have been there since ancient times. Those who went out of the valley of Kobe to Hase of Tottori early in the morning and went down the Chiyo River by boat to go to the Tottori castle town for business may have visited the temple on the way.
The shrine has seen many people.
