E	Eugene Nyunt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just before exiting through the ticket gates there’s a model of Osaka Castle inside a glass cabinet. It’s very well done and the pleasant design continues with the classic roof design of the station itself, as well as the wide pedestrian bridge over the road, and the steps down into Osaka Castle Park. PS. The train platforms are super wide, presumably to accommodate large visitor numbers.

S	Sean Kamki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is 1 of the 7 stations (or more, depending on how to count them) which surround Osaka Castle. The castle is so big that each of them has different purposes. This Osakajo-Koen (which means “Osaka Castle Park”) Station is literally “the station to visit Osaka Castle Park,” which is a north eastern part of Osaka Castle. So, this station is the best choice to visit Osaka Castle Park, Baseball Field and Osakajo Hall. But there’s a critical point. This station isn’t a good choice to visit the castle tower of Osaka Castle. You have to climb up a stern slope to get to the castle tower from this station. I recommend Tanimachi 4-chome Station of Osaka Metro to go to the castle tower, instead of this station. From Tanimachi 4-chome Station, you don’t have to face any stern slopes. You can walk there easily on a mostly flat ground.
