★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 毎月23日が縁日、幼いころは沢山の露天が集まってかなり賑わっていました。
お面・メンコ・綿あめ・カラーひよこ等々、古き良き時代です。
また身体の不自由な傷痍軍人さんがおられたことも記憶に残っています。
その当時の風情はほとんど残っていませんが、今も縁日には偶にお邪魔しています^^

I also remember that there was a physically handicapped soldier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 当地に移設した折、土の中からお地蔵さんが出て来たことで有名です。なので境内には沢山のお地蔵さんが鎮座されています。また境内の藤棚の下にある石のベンチは、明治から昭和にかけてコツコツと大八車で商いをしながら、得た利益で岡山に沢山の寄贈をした、慈善家で有名な「万納屋利吉」こと坪田利吉氏寄贈のモノです。京橋や富田町の火の見櫓を始め、利吉が寄贈したモノで現存しているのは、市史的にもかなり貴重です。

岡山電気軌道の停留所からは近い場所にあります。
旭川の氾濫をお地蔵様が防いだとされていて、痛みを取ったり願いを叶えたりといったご利益があるとされています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大雲寺交差点の北東に位置するお寺です。境内に駐車場が４台分ありましたので、そちらにクルマを置きました。毎月２３日の縁日には、駐車することができないかもしれません。近隣に、有料駐車場はいくつかあります。
南に向いている本堂には、参拝者がさすることができる、石造りのお地蔵さまがいらっしゃいました。境内には、北向きのお地蔵さまがいらっしゃったような気がします。
ロウソクと線香をお供えしてお参り、御朱印をいただきました。２０１８年１１月訪問。
It is a temple located in the northeast of the Daiunji intersection. There was a parking lot for 4 cars in the precincts, so I put the car there. You may not be able to park on the 23rd of every month. There are several pay parking lots nearby.
In the main hall facing south, there was a stone Jizo statue that worshipers could point to. I feel that there was a Jizo facing north in the precincts.
We offered candles and incense sticks and received a red stamp. Visited in November 2018.
