渡	渡辺裕二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 聖観音を本尊とし、池田家の祈祷所として岡山城の一郭の石山に建立。大正８年（１９１９年）現在地へ移築され、本堂は宝永４年（１７０７年）に建立されたもので、大棟の両端には、菊の御紋が入った鬼瓦、蛙股には池田家の裏家紋である笹リンドウの彫刻がされていますまた、本堂前の石灯籠には、寄進した池田家家老たちの銘が見られます。長く無住が続き、ただ朽ちるのを待つだけのような常住寺でしたが。２０１５年倉敷玉島の本性院住職が代務者となられ、最近復興プロジェクトが立ち上がり、新しく三千佛堂が建立。また悠久へと新たな一歩を踏み出したようです。今は朽ちてしまった本堂屋根をトタンで覆い、瓦などの落下を防いでますが、ゆくゆくこちらも再建されることを願います。ちなみに三千佛堂は現在、月一回、六日の午後から１７時までの拝観となっているようです。併せて護摩供養と本堂の拝観もされているので、ぜひ一度拝観を。注意点として、車での来場は不可。また公共交通機関での来場でもかなり歩くようになります。 It is built on Ishiyama, one of the castles of Okayama Castle, as a prayer house for the Ikeda family, with the Holy Kannon as the main honor.
