 Students will be pleased with the large amount of rice and pork soup. The taste of pork cutlet was also delicious.

一月からすこし値上げしたそうです。
がんばってください。
昼時は大学生グループでいっぱいになりがちなので注意。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very local place for local people. But very friendly people. Do great variations of tonkatsu for a very nice price. It's busy though so you'll need to time it right and has no English menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cozy place to have Japanese style food. There are quite a few vegetarian/vegan options available to go for. The staff is very friendly and she knows about the vegetarian and if ask in Japanese accent (BEJITARIAN) she will definitely understand. There is a set of 4 side dishes, miso soup and rice (small/medium/large: sho/chu/dai in Japanese) and it costs around 700 yen. I used to go for fritters (tenpura in Japanese) and three more vegetable options. Healthy, light, filling and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the pork used here is very tender and flavorful. it doesnt have the unpleasant smell that accompanies most pork. the breading is well done with that hint of milk that doesnt overwhelm. despite the crunchy outside, the meat remains moist and juicy. my favorite is the mizorekatsu, topped with grated radish and drizzled with ponzu. at times i get the katsudon and the standard rosu katsu with its accompanying demi glace sauce. perfect with lots of japanese mustard.
