★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy place where you can eat okonomiyaki with the locals. The cheerful staff know a little english, and they don't mind if you change items - which provided a perfect chance for us (a couple of vegetarians) to try some authentic okonomiyaki - the menu reads 'no meat, no egg? No worries!'

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good! You can request without meat, fish or eggs and I had a great udon with vegetable and egg. Really what I was looking for for my first dinner in Japan! I really enjoyed it and will likely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food and the atmosphere. Rina moved me from the table to the bar seating when it opened up cause they wanted me to see how it was cooked. Got the basic Okonomiyaki and beef curry on the side. Absolutely loved it! They made me feel welcomed and they love visitors. Lots of laughter, fun and great food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty okonomiyaki, as well as a wide selection of other dishes (seems very authentically Japanese dishes). The staff are so incredibly nice, speaks little English but goes out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They have an English menu as well. Offers dine in and takeaway. The only potential downside is the customers can smoke inside, though the place seems magically well ventilated so you aren't too bothered by the smoke. Also, the seating is cosy so may not suit customers with babies and prams. Though, when we were there with our toddler, the owner brought out a high cushion for us to use as a booster seat. He is just lovely. We loved the place so much we went back again for dinner eventhough we are only here for 3 nights and want to experience many different places. AND we got a takeaway okonomiyaki to have for breakfast the next day.
Recommend you try the Yaki-Soba. SO good!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect way to end a trip to Hiroshima! Gorgeous, cosy, authentic atmosphere and the staff are so friendly. Perfect for vegetarians. We had veggie Hiroshima okonomiyaki and it was so tasty! Would highly recommend ?
