★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本田町公民館の敷地内にございます、宗像三女神が一柱、市杵島姫を祀ったお社です。
本田町は、かつて水戸藩の御用河岸がありました旧小川町内にある地区ですが、旧来の土地柄か、川の無い場所でも水神様や宗像三女神のような水や海の神を祀るお社が今でも残っているようです。
Located in the grounds of the Honda Town Community Center, this is a company in which the three statues of Munakata are dedicated to Ichihimejima.
Honda Town is a district in the former Ogawamachi where there used to be a bank of the Mito clan, but it is a traditional land pattern, or even where there is no river, it enshrines the water and sea gods like Mizukami and Munakata three goddesses. It seems that the company still remains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 素鵞神社と小川公民館の間の狭い坂（その昔は小川城＝園部城の堀切だったと思われます）を下っていくと，北側の本多町公民館の広い敷地に鳥居と社殿が鎮座していらっしゃいました。水がないのに厳島社というのも（そういう場合ももちろんありますが）不思議なように感じましたが，お城と堀と考え合わせれば，なるほどとも思われました。
Going down the narrow slope between Soga Shrine and Ogawa Community Center (it seems that it used to be Horikiri of Ogawa Castle = Sonobe Castle), the torii gate and the shrine are enshrined on the large site of Hondamachi Community Center on the north side. You are here. It seemed strange that Itsukushima Shrine had no water (although there are cases like that), but considering the castle and the moat, it seemed to be true.
