昭和３０年に小台住民の強い要望により、江北氷川神社に合祀されていた天祖神社を分祀して、新たに社殿を創建したといわれております。境内には水神さまなどをお奉りしており、隅田川・荒川にはさまれた当地の水神さまに対する厚い崇敬がうかがえる。

狛犬は風雨に長年晒され歴史を感じさせてくれます。
境内には水神様と不動明王が祀られてました。
