★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1日平均の乗降人員が70万人を誇る近畿を代表するターミナル駅の１つ(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)第1回近畿の駅百選に選定されている。現施設は４代目となり、日本の設計士が行った。大空広場は地上70mで屋上は小庭園が有り、周囲ガラス張りの為、古都京都を一望出来る！屋上までは幾つものエスカレーターを乗り継いで行くが、天空に続く階段ならぬエスカレーターは壮大だ！途中のイベントフロアでは階段がイルミネーションになっている…コロナ禍では閉園となていたが、2020年10月時点では開園している！
One of Kinki's leading terminal stations, which boasts an average daily number of passengers of 700,000 (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵), has been selected as one of the 100 best stations in Kinki. The current facility is the 4th generation and was designed by a Japanese designer. The sky square is 70m above the ground, and there is a small garden on the roof, and the surrounding glass is covered, so you can overlook the ancient city of Kyoto! There are many escalators to the rooftop, but the escalators that are not stairs leading to the sky are magnificent! The stairs are illuminated on the event floor on the way ... The park was closed in Corona, but it is open as of October 2020!
