★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長岡京や伏見の方向に広く展望が開けています。
遮るものが無いためなかなかの開放感があります。
ここから小倉神社への近道がありますが、以外と険しい道なので注意してください。
--追記2020/12/20
久しぶりに訪れたら、縦走路からの道が整備されてとても歩きやすくなっていました。
一方で、展望台の前の木立が伸び、以前のような素晴らしい景色は拝めなくなっていました。
展望台なのに肝心の展望が悪くなってしまったので、残念ですがその分で星を1つ減らしておきます。
There is a wide view in the direction of Nagaokakyo and Fushimi.
There is a feeling of openness because there is nothing to block.
There is a shortcut to Ogura Shrine from here, but please note that it is a steep road.

When I visited for the first time in a long time, the road from the vertical track was improved and it was very easy to walk.
On the other hand, the grove in front of the observatory has grown, and you can no longer worship the wonderful scenery as before.
Although it is an observatory, the important view has deteriorated, so unfortunately I will reduce the number of stars by one.

アップされている写真のうち、いくつかは天王山縦走路の、小倉神社分岐のポイントです。勘違いなきよう。

ただハイキングルートから少し外れるのですが
下りになっていて、またハイキングルートに戻るときに少し坂になっているので、足元に注意してください
