でも、車を止める場所を柵をして 車が止められないようにしています。
地元の人が歩いて来られるのはいいけど、車で通りすがりの人は使えない。
せっかくの景色のいい公園なので、みんなが使える公園にしてほしいね☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公園には遊具などはなくベンチとトイレが設置されています。車でのアクセスは駐車場がないため難しいと思います(となりに停めれるスペースはあるのはある)
なので子供を連れてきて遊ばせるという公園としてはオススメできません。
ただ、目の前に海が広がっており、ベンチに座って「何もせずにボーっとする。」「誰かとお話をする」といった感じでの利用には良いと思います。
※影になるものが無いので7月〜9月の暑い日の利用はやめときましょう。

明治18年（1885年）に、明治天皇が西国巡礼の際、宮島からこの地に上陸されたのを記念して、おあがり場公園と呼ばれている。大きな石碑も建っており、そのことを伝えている。
古い人の話を聞くと、昔はこの辺に砂浜があって、よく泳いでいたらしい。今はしっかりと護岸工事がされていて、大きな岩がたくさん転がっており、泳ぐのには適さないように見える。
たまに釣り人を見かけるが、今日は誰も居なかった。草が刈ってあり、手入れもされていた。
