Shoin Yoshida is a Japanese samurai (Meiji Choshu), thinker, and educator. Yamaga Ryuhei Gakuin. It is generally known as a spiritual leader, theorist, and endeavologist of the Meiji Restoration. The private school “Matsushita Village School” had a philosophical influence on many young people who played important roles in the later Meiji Restoration.

てっきり松陰先生に縁の有る誰かの屋敷跡が公園になったのかと思いましたが、看板を読むと幼くして亡くなった女の子の意思で銅像が建てられたとのこと
子どもの発想としては随分と大人びていて、我が身を省みると感慨深いモノも有りました
It ’s in a normal park.
I wondered if the ruins of someone's mansion, which had a connection with Mr. Shoin, became a park, but when I read the signboard, it was said that a statue was built at the will of a girl who died at a young age.
As a child's idea, I was quite mature, and when I looked back on myself, I was deeply moved.
