It is a station on the outskirts of Himeji. Getting on and off on weekends is reasonable. It's more convenient than it used to be on the train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 播但線は市川に沿って走る。当然市街地もそれに沿って広がる。電車もワンマン運転2両編成が多く客車の長大編成が運転本数の過半数を占めていたのが嘘みたいな気がした。

周りも暗くなりますのでよほどの用がない限り夜に来る時は注意です

姫路駅 7時54分発の2両編成 普通電車に乗りましたが、途中の駅からも学生が乗って来て椅子に全員座れない状況の込み具合でした。
駅はICOCAやSuicaが使えるので便利です。改札と言うよりタッチパネルが置いてあるという状況でした。
改札口は東側のみです。西側に行くには駅を出て北側か南側に少し歩いて踏切を渡る必要が有ります。
駅前には無料の駐輪場が有ります。無料の駐車場も数台分有りますが、これは送迎用だと思います。
乗った電車の播但線 各駅名は十二支の絵が描かれていて、その背中に書いてありました。こんな駅名表示案内は初めて見て良いなと思いました。

The ticket gate is only on the east side. To get to the west, you need to leave the station and walk a little to the north or south to cross the railroad crossing.
There is a free bicycle parking lot in front of the station. There are several free parking lots, but I think this is for transportation.
The Bantan Line of the train that I got on. Each station name had a picture of the zodiac and was written on its back. I thought it would be good to see this station name display guide for the first time.
