★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 町中の気取らない麺屋さん。概ね価格は抑えられていますが、量がかなりお上品です。関東の更科系そばのそれといい勝負かもしれません。そばつゆは濃いめの関東仕立てで、天つゆと兼用になっています。単品よりも丼ものとセットで注文するにはこのぐらいが丁度よい分量なのでしょうね。
Unpretentious noodle shop in town. The price is generally reduced, but the amount is quite elegant. It may be a good match with that of the Soshin-style soba in Kanto. Soba soup is a dark Kanto-made, and is also used as a heaven soup. It may be just such a good quantity to order with a bowl and a set rather than a single item.

The inside of the store is a traditional soba restaurant! The soup stock is delicious, but the amount is small. It may be a good amount to eat lightly at lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ おばぁちゃんと息子さんのお店なんかな、おばぁちゃんとはよぉく働いておられる、えらい！美味しいお出汁に優しい京うどん。60前のおっさんにはちょうどいいええ味と量やで。京都のたぬきシリーズ、岡北と山元、おかるは別として、殿田食堂、大阪屋の次くらいに行きたいお店やなぁ。
I wonder if it's a shop for my aunt and son, I'm working hard with my aunt, great! Kyo udon that is kind to delicious soup stock. For the old man before 60, just no taste and quantity. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ざるそばを注文。量がかなり少な目（東京の名店「神田やぶそば」より少ないかも）。味は悪くありませんが、そばが短くぶつぶつに切れていました。ざる1枚600円と安い値付けですが、一般的な通常量で換算したら1枚1000円以上か。この店構えで名店なみの量の少なさ。蕎麦は細かくぶつ切れ。この自信はいったいどこからくるのか。理解不能。もしかしたらここはうどんを食べるお店だったかもしれない。
I ordered Zaru soba. The amount is quite small (maybe less than the famous store "Kanda Yabusoba" in Tokyo). The taste was not bad, but the buckwheat was short and chopped. It's a cheap price of 600 yen per colander, but if you convert it to a general normal amount, it's 1000 yen or more per sheet. The amount of this store is as small as that of a well-known store. Soba is chopped into small pieces. Where does this self-confidence come from? Unintelligible. Perhaps this was a restaurant that eats udon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お蕎麦やおうどんに、小さい丼をつけられるとのことだったので、玉子丼をつけました。
(もう一種はきつね丼でした)
玉子がトロトロ～で美味しくて、上に四角く切った焼きのりがのってます。
他にも角切り昆布のつくだ煮も出してくださいました。
丼はお茶碗に多め一杯くらいのボリュームでした。
お蕎麦は七味じゃなくて、山椒の香りが良い京都らしいお蕎麦。量が軽めなので、丼とセットでちょうど良かったです！

Soba is not Shichimi, but Kyoto-like soba with a nice scent of Japanese pepper. The amount is light, so it was just right with the bowl!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 烏丸丸太町こと京都御所の南西端から徒歩すぐにありますイニシエの雰囲気が濃厚に漂ううどん屋さんです。メニューのお値段は比較的リーズナブルですが、麺類の量は少ないので、単品なら丼ものまたはミニ丼を加えると満足できる量になるかとおもいますが、普通のお値段になります。おつゆはダシの主張より醤油の塩味がはっきりのドライタイプで、これは京風とは違う気がします。一方でしつこさは無いので一度慣れるとクセになるかもしれません。ほぼ障子の入り口といい、レトロさは抜群なので、近隣で食べるものが思いつかなかったり、リーズナブルな食事をしたい時には良いと思います。
Karasuma Marutamachi is a udon restaurant with a rich atmosphere of an initiator, located just a short walk from the southwestern end of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The price of the menu is relatively reasonable, but the amount of noodles is small, so if you add a bowl or a mini bowl, you may be satisfied with the amount, but it will be a normal price. Otsuyu is a dry type with a clear salty taste of soy sauce, which is different from the Kyoto style. On the other hand, it is not persistent, so once you get used to it, you may become addicted. It's almost the entrance to shoji screens, and it's very retro, so it's good when you can't think of something to eat in the neighborhood or when you want to have a reasonable meal.
