地図で調べて行けそうな場所にあったので行ってみました。 こちらも坂出駅から徒歩圏内にある店舗です。 店内は結構混雑しており、人気店なようです。かけうどんの値段は220円と一般的な値段です。 ここのうどんは麺が若干細く、つるつるとした食感です。 そしてダシ。これおいしいです。温度が高めなので猫舌な人は要注意。 でも寒い中では、この温度が体に染みわたり体を温めてくれます。 味に関しては、若干濃いめです。ちょっとしょっぱいかなというレベル。 個人的にはもう少し薄くても良いんじゃないかなとは思いますが、好みは人それぞれだと思うのであまり言及はしないでおきます。 でもその濃いとかいう以前に上品な味でとても美味しかったです。 薬味はショウガと天かすとネギとかつお節がありました。大根おろしはしょうゆうどんなど専用で、ほかの人は使用しないでとの注意書きあり。 冷やしのダシもとても気になるので、また夏とかに行きたい店です。

病院の近くなので、通院の年配者に帰りがけ寄ってもらったり、見舞いに遠方から来る人のことも考えてるから 少し柔らかめで、尖ったところの無いうどんにしてるという意図を感じます。 元は製麺所で1玉いくらで商売してきたからか、手のかかるお高めのメニューが無いのが残念。

開店時間の10時半に入店。 お客さんは、私たち夫婦以外には、うどん玉と天ぷらを買いに来たおじいちゃんが一人。 私はかけ特大(そのまま)とちくわ天、家内はかけ大(温)ととり天をチョイス。 まず、出汁ですが、すんごく香りの良いかつお出汁(昆布も入ってるかな?)で、天ぷらとの相性が抜群!(^^) でも、その美味しいお出汁とは裏腹に、麺の方が残念! 中讃では定番の中細麺ですが、「そのまま」を注文した私の麺でも、表面が完全にふやけており、尚且つ、箸で持ち上げると、ブチブチ切れてしまう麺もあるほどのコシの弱さ(-_-;) ただ、ふやけているがゆえ、のど越しは良いです(^^; 練りの段階での練り込み(打ち込み)が足りないのか、練り込んだタネを寝かせていないのか・・・ お出汁が美味しいだけに、麺の弱さが本当に残念です。 お店の方たちは、すごく笑顔が素敵だし、厨房の中に居られた若い男性は、とても腰が低く、接客対応は完璧です! ですから、あとは麺! 伝統ある製麺会社が経営しているお店とのことですが、麺だけ、麺作りだけ、今一度、改良して頂けませんか! 生意気なことを言って、ごめんなさい!m(_ _)m 尚、星の数ですが、麺については星3つ、お出汁の美味しさと店員さんの素晴らしい対応に星5つ、総合して星4つとさせて頂きます(^^)

子供の頃坂出に住んでいた頃は、確か別のうどん屋さんが入っており、当時は私も、家族でたまに来ておりましが、室町うどんさんは、その当時とは違うお店になっているようですね。 今回、主人と初めて来店しました。 開店前に到着し、少し待ちましたが。できたてのうどんに期待して入店!! 主人も私も、定番のかけうどんを注文!! ダシはしっかりしており、美味しいと思ったのですが、うどんのコシは物足りない感じでした。 店員さんの対応も良く、ダシも美味しかっただけに少し残念でした。

ここ「室町うどん」は県道33号線を宇多津方面から高松方面に進み、「坂出市久米町1」の交差点を右折、少し進むと右手にベーカリー「トラパーニ」があり、ここの西隣りにあります(大雑把に言うと「回生病院」の南側)。 本日は開店時間10:30の10分程前に到着。 駐車場はお店の北側に数台分あります。開店待ちの先客も居らず、無事に駐車する事が出来ました。 他の方のブログを見てると、ここ「室町うどん」さんは「利匠」が営んでおり、元は昭和28年創業の製麺所「柳屋」が、2009年に名前を変えてうどん屋をオープンしたみたいです。なので、外の大きな丸い看板も「室町うどん」の文字の下に「有限会社利匠」の文字が入ってます。 開店時間まで、入口横にベンチがあるので、腰掛けて待機。10:30に店員さんが出て来て、「お待たせしました!!どうぞ中へ!!」と大きな声と笑顔で案内してくれ、とても感じが良いです。また、写真撮影も快くOKをもらい、大変ありがたいです。 早速入店。店内は広々としており、テーブル席と座敷席、カウンター席があります。 今回は「かけうどん(大 2玉)」と「鶏天」、「おむすび」を頂きました。 ここはセルフ店で、薬味の「ネギ」、「天かす」、「生姜」、「大根おろし」等は自分で入れるスタイルです。今回目を引いたのは、この薬味コーナに「鰹節」も置いてある事です。「鰹節」を置いてあるうどん屋はあまり見かけた事が無いので、これは是非、「かけうどん」に入れてみたいと思いました。天ぷら、フライ物コーナは開店直後だったので、まだ品数は少なかったです。 出てきた「かけうどん(大 2玉)」ですが、麺は少し細目の綺麗な白色で、麺線が綺麗です。2玉なのでボリュームもあります。「ネギ」、「天かす」、「鰹節」をたっぷり入れて一口啜ると、モチモチ、プリプリ感いっぱいの美味しい麺です。硬すぎず柔らかすぎず、程よいコシです。とにかく細目で非常に食べやすい麺です。出汁も「鰹節」を入れたせいか?鰹の風味が強くなりましたが、これが結構美味しく、モチモチ、プリプリの麺との相性も抜群です。 「鶏天」は値段が170円と少し高めの感じもしましたが、その分、大きくて食べ応えがあります。開店直後だったのでまだ温かく、コロモもサクサク、鶏肉は柔らかくて美味しかったです。 「おむすび」は海苔玉のおむすびを頂きましたが、香川県産米を使用してるとの事で、握りすぎや、詰めすぎによるお米の潰れもなく、美味しかったです。 あと、お土産に「生うどん」と「うどん県めんつゆ」等が販売されてました。買って帰って「室町うどん」の味を楽しむのも良いかもしれません(生うどんの1パックの値段が190円と結構安いです)。 総じて「うどん」、「天ぷら」、「おむすび」のどれも美味しく、店員さんの感じも良かったので近くに来た時はまた利用したいと思います。
