★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy access to seeing Mount Fuji from above the hill. The ropeway is good even for elder or children. From this place you can see both of kawaguchiko lake n its around, if the sky clear you can see top of mount fuji. I've been twice going here for 1 day trip from Tokyo.

It was cloudy when we were there and couldn't get to see the mountain Fuji.
There is a souvenir store on the top or you can buy some dango to eat while enjoying the view. It's not friendly for a baby car or wheelchair on the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there during this weekend (17th October) with bad luck of not seeing the Mt. Fuji. But the view from the top was great. View of around area are also mind blowing. Also, the hospitality and service of staff was outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely some spectacular views available especially at the top end of the Ropeway, at the swings, and on top of the gift shop. I recommend the swings for about 500¥ per person available at the gift shop. You can swing for the length of a song playing (plenty of time). There is a size limit on the swings, so I recommend investigating that before ticket purchase. There is, however, no size limit for the ropeway itself that I saw. I also recommend purchasing the package boat-ride and Ropeway. We quite enjoyed both and think it’s a must-do at least once!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you get a coupon at the visitor booth at kawaguchi station you can save money on your ticket. There's 2 cars running back and forth, the ride is about 3 minutes one way, moves quick.
Once you're up there the views are awesome. There's a gift shop and snack shop as well. I think the best view is actually on the top of the store. The swings are under construction ? and off limits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Able to take our dogs up the rope way in an enclosed carrier. View of Mt Fuji was spectacular and worth the ride up. Up there the area is small, there is a gift shop and cafe. But for the view alone it was worth it.
Free car park across the road along the lake.
