At the top, you can get ice cream/food, check out the gift shop, ring a lovers bell, pray at a rabbit/bunny shrine, have a fantastic view of Mouth Fuji and the city, climb higher to a second observatory..
I'd highly recommend the experience for first timers in the area. I'd also recommend taking the ropeway instead of climbing..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That's Amazing Fuji-san view. Well, that's really depending on your luck during the visit as the climate and weather change will affect the clarity of Fuji-san view. Anyway, it's surely your ideal haven to get rid the crowded city life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little confusing saying you can see great views of Kawaguchiko Lake with the backdrop of Fuji as this is not the case. There are magnificent views of the lake on the way up in the gondola of the Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, but Fuji is only visible once you reach the top and walk out of the top station. It is a magnificent view of the very majestic Mt Fuji! A little kiosk and souvenir store give you a chance to pick up some souvenirs, and a cup of coffee, and there is another viewing platform a short climb further up the mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you reach the top, you’ll get a majestic view of Mt. Fuji. Tried their tanuki dango while enjoying the view. They also sell souvenirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldnt recommend going here but instead to Chureito Pagoda where the view is free.
But anyways once your up there is a small throwing game you can play and a little platform on top of the shop they have to enjoy the view even more.
Im referring to the gondola you can take.
